Founder Story

Hi, I'm LingTong. I started TropiStrand because too many buyers were making sourcing decisions from photos alone — paying suppliers nobody had visited, approving samples without local follow-up, and discovering problems only after goods shipped.

After years in manufacturing and medical supplies, I knew the gap wasn't another online product list. Buyers needed someone in Guangxi who could walk into a factory, take real photos, compare what they saw with what was promised, and say honestly when something didn't add up.

That's why TropiStrand is based in Long'an, Nanning, not positioned as a nationwide agency. I personally oversee supplier visits, sample coordination, visible quality checks and export follow-up for projects that fit our practical local coverage. When a supplier is too far for meaningful follow-up, or a category doesn't fit what we can verify on the ground, I say so before we accept the work.

Outside work, I'm a big fan of swimming and spending time with my family. It keeps me grounded — and reminds me that good sourcing partnerships, like good relationships, are built on clear communication and realistic expectations.

How We Work With Buyers

• We say no when coverage doesn't fit. If a supplier is outside our practical Guangxi radius, or a project needs capabilities we don't offer, we explain that upfront instead of accepting work we can't follow through on.
• Transparent fees, no supplier kickbacks. We earn from clear client service fees — not hidden commissions from factories. That keeps our recommendations aligned with your interests.
